The International Whaling Commission is meeting today to decide the fate of whales. Japan, Iceland, and Norway are trying to proclaim the benefits of commercial whaling. Commercial whaling was banned in 1986 because the Commission felt that whale numbers couldn’t survive the slaughter. And now whales are on the chopping block once again. Every dollar that you donate to the Humane Society up to $75,000 will be matched in order to save and protect whales.
