A love for food and a Sports Illustrated cover worthy body don’t seem to go hand in hand, but Chrissy Teigen makes it work! The host of MTV’s newest cooking show, Snack-Off, absolutely loves to cook, and shared a few secrets on how she makes it work.
“I basically just take all of my cravings and make them low carb,” Teigen explains. “I love Thai boat noodles: They are kind of like pho, but with a very hearty broth. I will make the broth and just do no noodles and more bean sprouts. I need to be able to eat what I want to eat, so I just get rid of as many carbs as possible that go into it.”
You’d think someone like Teigen would be too busy to cook, and be able to keep it healthy, but the star reveals, “If I’m at home for a week and I can do dinner every night, I’ll cook every single night.” Although she doesn’t tend to go out often Teigen suggests Greek yogurt as her go to morning after meal. “I just feel like it keeps it all down,” she adds.
Another go to of Teigen’s is a Momofuku Crack Pie. “I cannot go to a party empty handed… But I can’t just bring that Crack Pie. I need to bring something homemade too,” she says. Well that sounds amazing! What gift do you usually bring to a party?
