If you want to have a delicious cronut without having to wait in line and not feel guilty about it, here’s your chance! The shop will be auctioning Cronut packages designed by celebrities starting today. And not only are the bejeweled cases designed with their autographs on them, but also, the Cronuts will be filled with pumpkin cream and topped with 24K gold! Blingy confections!
Case designers include Heidi Klum, Joan Rivers, Jonathan Adlers, Peter Som, Sandra Lee and the casts of musicals such as Cinderella. The Cronut Mission event will take place online, bids will start at $100 and will be delivered on Thanksgiving day.
The original idea is from Dominique Ansel and Christiane Lemieux, creative director of Dwell Studios. They will be fundraising the God’s Love We Deliver charity, an organization that brings food to the ones who are too sick to cook or shop for themselves in New York City.
Last month, City Harvest charity raised $14,000 for 12 Cronuts in fund-raising event aimed at ending hunger. How much would you pay for one of these cases?
