I hope you are having a wonderful 4th of July weekend. Don’t you love that it falls on a Monday this year? 3 day weekend and 4 day work week! With all of the celebrations and festivities happening, just a friendly reminder to keep an eye on your pets. Historically, this is one of the most inundated weekends for animals shelters all across the US. What happens is fireworks go off, animals get spooked, and take off running, thereby creating a large numbers of strays that are either turned in or picked up off the streets.

Please always bring your pets inside during during extreme weather (heat, cold, rain, snow, hail, sleet.) They deserve to be given shelter, a warm bed and food and clean water, just like any human.
