While it may not be totally cold right now, it’s the perfect time of year to start planning holiday and winter travel. If you like lights around the holidays, Europe seems to be the place to go. Landing spots on National Geographic’s Top 10 Places to See Holiday Lights are Vienna, Brussels, Gothenburg, and Madrid, but if you prefer to stay in the country there are also breathtaking spots in Florida and California.
For those who just want to escape to the warmth during winter, Hawaii, St. Barth’s or the Bahamas are an excellent option. After all, it is always nice to have a winter tan!
