You know it’s going to be a good night when you are handed a secret key, escorted to a hotel room to mix self-serve vodka cocktails from the mini-bar and led into the bathroom for…..a live musical performance! I bet you didn’t think I was going to say that. And that is exactly what happened last night at the Warby Parker store opening at The Standard Hollywood.

BTW, I would expect nothing less. Andre Balazs and company always throw a never-dull party experience. Case in point, the Aqualillies synchronized-swimming performance mid-way through the soiree and The Standard Sounds x Warby Parker Artists-in-Residence musicians Sophie Auster, Cillie Barnes and Sidd Khosla each doing an acoustic set. Hence, my almost private lavatory concert.
