In what may be described as the quickest divorce in Hollywood history, an agreement has been reached in the separation proceedings of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, only days after she filed on June 29th. Katie’s New York based attorney, Jonathan Wolfe, just released a statement today, “This case has been settled and the agreement has been signed. We are thrilled for Katie and her family and are excited to watch as she embarks on the next chapter of her life.”

According to TMZ, Katie will retain primary physical custody of Suri, who will live with her mother in NYC. However, Tom will be granted generous visitation rights. And a Radar Online source stated, “Under terms of the settlement, Suri isn’t permitted to be exposed to anything Scientology related and this includes going to any Scientology churches, parties, etc. Katie made sure that this was ironclad in the agreement.” As far as money goes, there are different reports circling right now. It was originally thought that the pre-nup that Holmes signed provided her with $3 million dollars for every year that she was married to Cruise (totaling around $18 million) and their mansion in Montecito, CA. But other outlets maintain that she will walk away with little more than what she originally brought to the marriage (which wasn’t a lot) but that is fine with her. Either way, I am sure that she is happy to have the thing that is most important to her-her daughter, Suri. What do you think about their reported agreement?
