After breaking up in May, Sofia Vergara and her bf Nick Loeb have decided to cement their bond and get engaged! Apparently, it happened over the weekend in Mexico where the couple and several friends, including Sofia’s Modern Family co-stars Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Sarah Hyland, were celebrating Vergara’s 40th birthday. Loeb reportedly proposed marriage while the two were exploring the archaeological ruins of Chichen Itza.

The newly engaged couple then celebrated with their friends. And sportscaster Fernando Fiore tweeted a picture of Sofia with what appears to be her engagement ring on her left hand.
