Last night, I made me way to The Standard in downtown LA for the Designer and Muse soiree. And who did I catch up with? One of my favorite Parisian turned Angelo designers-Lloyd Klein-and his muse, singer Natalie Cole, who looked amazing in her green as a shamrock dress that Klein designed especially for her. The color looked stunning on Natalie, who mentioned to me that yesterday was her father’s (legend Nat King Cole’s) birthday. Very special! Also on hand was the James Galanos “The Godfather of LA Fashion” who told me that he now enjoys a life of travel and philanthropy rather than cutting and sewing. Well deserved, Mr. Galanos!
