The Royals, specifically, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have welcomed a new baby into their home. Not a two-legged baby, but rather, a furry one with four legs. Yes, they rescued a dog!
They adopted a Labrador Retriever earlier this summer to be a companion to Meghan’s other rescued dog, a Beagle named Guy. Sadly, Markle had to leave Bogart, her other pup, behind in the States when she moved from Toronto to London to get married to the Prince. Apparently, Bogart was re-homed with her friends stateside.
And the royal newlyweds have been having a blast this summer, attending weddings and events in Europe. One highlight for them was traveling to Lake Como, Italy to be houseguests of George and Amal Clooney. It seems George and Harry enjoyed playing basketball together, while Amal and Meghan lounged by the pool and helped to take care of the 14-month old Clooney twins, Ella and Alexander. And the Clooneys held a dinner party in the royal couple’s honor. Sounds like quite the summer!
