Happy Memorial Day! On this day in which we remember the selfless men and women who have served and continue to serve in the United States Armed Forces, our gratitude and appreciation for their sacrifices extend to them and the families of fallen soldiers.

Military working dogs or “war dogs” are also considered soldiers and often times, pay the ultimate price while protecting their human counterparts. They have been used in the military since World War I and every war since then, and these “war dogs” even aided in the capture and assassination of Osama Bin Laden.
