Among the most hard hit were the torrential storms in Philippines, a deadly tsunami in Western Samoa, and earthquakes that ripped through Sumatra, Indonesia have all left widespread destruction and death and many who suffered were pets and animals. The WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals) has deployed their DART (Disaster Assessment and Response Teams) to all of these locations to help animals who are affected and are in need. And there is much work to be done to aid these victims of disaster.
