As I mentioned a couple of weeks back, October is Adopt A Shelter Dog month. And as such, I wanted to share with you Nala’s Story, about how a little compassion and kindness can save a dog’s life. Beware-have tissues close by!
If you are interested in fostering/rescuing/adopting a pet, her are some excellent resources to help you with your search: Petfinder.com, Adoptapet.com or the ASPCA website. If you find a pet that you love who happens to be out of your area, always ask the shelter or rescue group about possible pet transportation to your area.
