RED CARPET ROXY’S “RED ALERT” OF THE WEEK-MY DOG IS COOL

Summer temperatures are soaring! And while it is nice to include pets in activities away from the home, it is important to never leave animals in extreme temperatures, even just for a minute. If you see a dog locked in a hot car, immediately call 911, the police, or the local animal control agency. Also, it is important to go into the nearest business or house and make an announcement trying to locate the dog’s owner.

RedRover animal protection charity has launched the My Dog is Cool campaign aimed at educating the public about the dangers of leaving dogs in hot cars. They are doing so by posting fliers on windshields and business gently reminding people that it isn’t ok to leave pets in these conditions.
