Every year, the Humane Society honors various media outlets for raising awareness and spotlighting animals issues at the Genesis Awards. And this year was no different. Just this past Saturday at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA., Melanie Griffith, Antonio Banderas, Pierce Brosnan, Maria Menounos, Kristen Bell, Teri Hatcher, Jon Lovitz, Moby, Ginnifer Goodwin, as well as others, gathered to celebrate animals at the awards ceremony. Here is the complete list of winners from the 24th Annual Genesis Awards:

Genesis Outstanding Documentary Film award-The Cove.

Tying for Outstanding Feature Film were the Academy Award®-winning Up and Hotel For Dogs, both of which offered meaningful messages about the importance of the human-animal bond.
