So happy to report good news for this week’s “Red Alert” straight from the Tents of New York Fashion Week. I have seen more faux fur than in any previous season of Fashion Week. And not only on fashionistas attending the shows which has been substantial, but also on the runway itself, like at Rebecca Taylor. Even designers like Peter Som, who showed the real fur in his show this week, also demonstrated how fun Mongolian lambswool can be as an alternative to fur. Cruelty-free is definitely in for Fall 2010!
