One of my favorite ways to give back over the holidays is to help out a worthwhile animal charity in need. And one of those non-profits that is near and dear to my heart is Earth Angels Canine Rescue in New York City. I adopted two of my lovable and loyal pups from this amazing no-kill rescue group.

Founder Emelinda Narvaez works tirelessly to save the lives of homeless dogs, mostly from the South Bronx, and send them to safe and loving forever homes. In fact, she has rescued over 5,000 dogs. There is rarely a weekend you won’t see Emelinda camped out in front of the Petsmart at Union Square with some of the latest fur babies that she has just rescued and is looking to find homes for.
