Puppy mill dogs stuffed in cramped and filthy cages
To all California residents-There is an important piece of legislation sitting on the floor of the California Senate pertaining to puppy mills. A.B. 241, which has already been passed by the state assembly, would crack down on puppy mills by limiting the number of dogs that could be kept at puppy mills. Puppy mills are usually extremely overcrowding with dogs being kept in filthy cages, one on top of another and most of the time outside in the elements. They often do not receive proper medical attention nor human care, and live their lives breeding litter after litter until they are discarded when they can bare no more puppies. They are viewed as money making objects. It is a sad life.
