RED ALERT: NO-KILL LA PET ADOPTION CENTER OPEN NOW!

There are many things that make me smile: rose-soaked summer nights, my skinny jeans feeling a little bit loose on me and a piping-hot serving of french fries with cold ketchup. But the news that the first NKLA (No-Kill Los Angeles) adoption center has opened its doors in Los Angeles, thrills me!

As you may know, NKLA hosts a big pet adoption event at the La Brea Tar Pits every year in which hundreds of adoptable animals find forever homes. And just last year, the No-Kill organization re-homed over 23,000 animals. Just so you know, the wonderful pets being housed at this adoption center come from various city shelters and rescue groups, and are healthy and ready to go home. “All pets are up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered and ready to go home. All adoptions come with a free pet ID tag, one month of pet insurance, a collar, a leash for dogs and a carrier for cats,” says NKLA’s facebook page. So what are you waiting for? Go find your furry companion now! The shelter is located on 1845 Pontius Avenue in Los Angeles.
