We all know how bad the pet over-population is in Los Angeles. In fact, 13,000 adoptable animals were euthanized last year in LA City Shelters alone. But NKLA (No-Kill Los Angeles) is trying to put an end to this by producing adoption fairs, and this Saturday July 13th, offering a free spay/neuter dog clinic in Compton.
In order to qualify, you must own a dog and be a resident of Compton, which has a mandatory spay/neuter ordinance, so in order to register your dog, he or she must be fixed. The free clinic will be held at East Rancho Dominguez Park, 15116 South Atlantic Avenue, Compton. Call now to make an appointment for next Saturday, July 13: (213) 403-0129 or NKLA Coalition Partner Downtown Dog Rescue at (818) 407-4145. And regardless of where you live, please spay and neuter your pets because it really does save lives. Click here to learn more and how you can help.
