Leave it up to Sir Richard Branson to do it again! Doesn’t he always seem ahead of the curve? This was sent to me by one of my BFF’s at J’adore Joey. Branson and his chain of Virgin Active Healthclubs in the UK are getting ready to launch the first animal-only gym called Animal Active aimed at getting animals and pets back in shape. You heard that right-pet gym. Water bowls, paw weights, and sweating to hits like, “Who Let the Dogs Out?,” “Lovecats,” and “Dogcatcher”-a dream come true for Fido.
Branson propounds, “The UK obesity epidemic is affecting the whole family, animals included. With more overweight and unfit pets living in the UK than ever before, we want to tackle this head on. Opening our first ever ‘Animal Active’ is a great way to do this. We hope that members and their pets will enjoy working out together.”
Some of the group classes offered will be Pawlates, Puuuroebics, and Pooch Paunch Buster. Can I sign up?
