Summer is right around the corner, and that means it is time for the Cannes Film Festival! We all know that Cannes is about three things: the movies, the parties, and of course, the celebrities. Here are some of the key movies you should look forward to and the parties you will hear all about.
Last night, Miuccia Prada hosted a star-studded party to open The Great Gatsby Dress Exhibit in NYC, before the premiere tonight. The stars from the Baz Luhrmann-directed film attended, including Carey Mulligan, Isla Fisher, as well as Tobey Maguire (with wifey Jennifer Meyer in tow), and other celebs such as Katy Perry, Florence Welch and Maggie Gyllenhaal. And all were decked in Prada.
Just this morning, the 70th Annual Golden Globe nominations were announced in LA. And Lincoln, Django Unchained and Argo lead the pack for noms.
Infidelity, murder, and racoons, with some vodka throw in for good measure. Those were the running themes from my Monday night (though not exactly in that order!), which I spent at the Hollywood premiere of The Details, along with the films stars, Tobey Maguire, Kerry Washington, and Dennis Haysbert.
