Hi Friends! As you may know, I returned from covering New York Fashion Week and STYLE360 Spring 2012 and last week, only to be thrown into the craziness of Emmys weekend. It was a whirlwind, but lots of fun! As I have always maintained, I think I have the best job in the world. And, it is nice to get recognized for one of my passions in life, style, when I am on the job. As I was making my way into the Mara Hoffman show at Lincoln Center during Fashion Week, I got stopped and photographed by Lucky Magazine for having chic street style.

After a two season absence while showing in Paris, Zac Posen made his return to Lincoln Center this past week for his Spring/Summer 2012 collection. And the clothes were yummy! My fave is this gray, black, and white off-the-shoulder cocktail dress. Love the plunging neckline and the knee-length silhouette. Such a gorgeous color combo.

THE 2011 CFDA AWARDS

Last night, Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in NYC played host to the 2011 CFDA Awards, recognizing excellence in fashion design. CFDA honorees included Fashion Icon Award winner Lady Gaga (who was decked in a floor-sweeping Thierry Mugler), and Lifetime Achievement Award Winner Marc Jacobs. Red (my fave!) seemed to be the color of the evening, gracing the gorgeous bodies of Doutzen Kroes, Karlie Kloss, and Alessandra Ambrosio. There was even an unexpected pop of color (seafoam green) by Chanel Iman who wore BCBG Max Azria. And lots of sex appeal with thigh high slits all over the place, cutouts galore on Miranda Kerr in Michael Kors, and a lace dress worn by Georgina Chapman for her label, Marchesa. See boys, you too can enjoy the CFDA’s!
