I wanted to let you know about a fun jewelry line that I have recently come across called SEAH. The “hippie chic” collection is based upon the astrological signs.They have a number of designs, including my fave, the Destiny leather wrap-bracelet series, which will be adding two new colors to its line, both Camel and Chocolate.

I hope you are having a wonderful 4th of July weekend. Don’t you love that it falls on a Monday this year? 3 day weekend and 4 day work week! With all of the celebrations and festivities happening, just a friendly reminder to keep an eye on your pets. Historically, this is one of the most inundated weekends for animals shelters all across the US. What happens is fireworks go off, animals get spooked, and take off running, thereby creating a large numbers of strays that are either turned in or picked up off the streets.

Last night I attended one of the best film panels at the LA Film Fest, sponsored by the LA Times and Dove Hair Care, that I have ever seen! Thye cast of characters included Jack Black and screen legend and one of my fave actresses-the unforgettable and incomparable Shirley MacLaine. The panel, in support of the duo’s latest flick Bernie, was moderated by Leonard Maltin who did a pretty good job of keeping up with these two and their witty banter!

D’AMORE SWIM GEMINI COLLECTION FASHION SHOW IN BEVERLY HILLS

Yesterday, I braved the June gloom that has fallen over the City of Angels (I know-we are spoiled!) and headed to the rooftop pool deck of the Thompson Hotel for the D’Amore Swim Fashion Show. The trendy, rock n’ roll inspired swimwear line designed by DJ Caroline D’Amore was fun and perfect for that “I am still fashionable even though I have a swimsuit on” look. Think grommet embellished one-pieces, tribal print bikinis, black lace and gold mixed together, stripes, and even checkers!
