Just last month, I reported from the LAYN Rocks charity concert featuring rock gods like Slash and Friends, Billy Idol, Ozzy Osbourne, and Perry Farrell just to name a few, at Avalon in Hollywood. Well now the videos have surfaced and can be viewed below. Some fun highlights include Dave Navarro revealing to me what is meant to play with one of his rock icons, funnies with George Lopez, Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine’s most cherished part of his life, Slash giving me the goods on what it was like to spontaneously get up on stage at the Rose Bowl and jam “Sweet Child O’ Mine” with the Black Eyed Peas, and of course the music-Billy Idol singing “Rebel Yell,” the boys from Jane’s’ Addiction (Farrell & Navarro) along with Travis Barker, Slash, and Tom Morello throwing down an amazing version of “Jane Says,” and the Prince of Darkness aka Ozzy Osbourne killing it with hits like “Iron Man” and “Crazy Train,” as well as other gems.
