October is Adopt A Shelter Dog month, so what better way to celebrate than to adopt a shelter pup? I am a proud rescue mom of four former shelter dogs, and I can honestly say that they bring me so much happiness and joy. They are furry little angels, even when they are naughty! And by adopting or fostering one of these homeless animals, you are truly saving a life. Thousands of healthy, adoptable animals in shelters across the US are put to sleep everyday. The shelters are extremely overcrowded and cannot hold that many animals at one time.
