LA City Councilman Paul Koretz, introduced a motion this past week that would ban the sale of puppy mill & kitty mill animals at pet stores across the city. He wants to enact this piece of legislation in order to curb the widespread problem of pet over population in Los Angeles. By ending this practice, he hopes that it will make room for other adoptable pets, like those suffering in the overcrowded city shelters, the opportunity to find homes.
