Are you wondering what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be dining on at their royal wedding on Saturday? Well, wonder no more because Kensington Palace has released details about what the couple and their guests will be eating.
Taking on the more relaxed style of the soon to be wedded couple, the food served will be able to be eaten standing up, rather than a formal sit-down meal. Think fresh produce and lots of great desserts. Asparagus, peas and tomatoes will definitely make the cut, as well as chocolate truffles, crème brûlée, biscuits with mango panna cotta topping and yellow macaroons. Sounds good to me!
“Luckily the seasons have just fallen perfectly and that’s become the main focus in the decision making of the menus,’ said Head Chef Mark Flanagan. ‘The couple have been very involved in every detail of it’, he says.
And many of the offerings will be served via food bowl and canapés, rather than plated meals. So far, that’s all we know for now, but we will be on the lookout for more updates.
