National Geographic’s Rescue Ink follows a group of tough looking tattooed guys you would otherwise think belonged to some type of a motorcycle gang, in their unending dedication to rescuing and saving animals from human abusers in the New York area and to bring the violators to justice. Some of these guys have had violent pasts and even run ins with the law, but they are all on the same mission-to save any and every animal who needs their help. The men of Rescue Ink are on call 24/7-not because they have to, but because they want to. Says Joe Panz the leader of Rescue Ink, “If you don’t like us from the way we look, we can’t help that. But if you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem, so stay out of the way.” The animals are lucky to have these guys on their side!
