TELL GODADDY.COM TO ADOPT DON’T SHOP

The Super Bowl has come and gone, and a few of the commercials really stood out. One of them, an ad for GoDaddy.com, featuring a lost puppy who needed to get home to be sold online, was actually pulled before the big game because some found it offensive. It seemed to poke fun at puppy mills and selling dogs online. I, for one, am glad the company decided not to air this commercial.

But some are going one step further and asking the public to sign a petition requesting that GoDaddy.com support the “Adopt Don’t Shop” movement urging people to rescue/adopt/foster pets rather that purchasing them via a pet store, online or even worse, a puppy mill, which are notorious for mistreating animals and overbreeding them. The petition asks the website company to donate to the cause. Will you? You can sign the petition here.
