Seth Macfarlane is hot. So hot, that he has been tapped to be the host of the 2013 Academy Awards. And I say, “Yes!” I love a man with a wicked sense of humor!

This two-time Emmy winner and creator of Family Guy will no doubt be an awesome Oscars host. After seeing him emcee the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball earlier this year, I know Seth will provide just the right amount of sarcasm and irreverence. Said Seth after being asked, “My thoughts upon hearing the news were, one, I will do my utmost to live up to the high standards set forth by my predecessors; and two, I hope they don’t find out I hosted the Charlie Sheen Roast.” Ha! Apparently, Jimmy Fallon was approached first, but turned the gig down stating, “I was honored to be asked by the Academy, but it’s not my year.” What do you think about the Academy choosing Seth to host?
