The gorgeous Courteney Cox and the uber-handsome James Marsden (with their children in tow) came together on Saturday to host PlayStation’s Wonderbook Halloween Party in Los Angeles. The event benefited the EBMRF, the Epidermolsys Bullosa Medical Research Foundation, a cause that is dear to both James and Courteney as their friend, Andrea Joseph’s, son was born with the devastating skin disease. Also in attendance were Jaime Pressly, Catherine Bell, David Spade, Mandy Moore, and Jason Ritter who all came out to support the cause.
James was all smiles as he played PlayStation’s Wonderbook: Book of Spells with his daughter, who was dressed as a dragon. Meanwhile, Jason R. chatted with friends inside the Enchanted Forest, in which the entry was a giant jack o’ lantern! There was also a pumpkin-lined walkway into the festivities, which Bell followed as she led her kids to the LittleBigPlanet gaming area. And they looked like they were having a blast! Pressly brought her adorable son, Desi, along with his best friend who were both dressed as super heroes. This North Carolina-bred babe is strict about cleanliness, mentioning, “I’m from the South. Having manners is important to me!” as Desi cleaned the crumbs around his plate of food before he resumed playing PlayStation’s All-Stars Battle Royale. Now that’s a good boy!
And Cox was warmly greeted by her pal, Spade (*who was dressed as a “pompous actor”-his words, not mine!), as she entered the soiree with her eight-year-old daughter, Coco. The mother/daughter duo got airbrush tattoos together, bats on the upper arm for Courteney and eyeballs on the forehead for CoCo. A great time had by all! The celebs also shared with me their Halloween musings-from making homemade costumes (Marsden) to Court’s having a short attention span for trick-or-treating. Can’t say I blame her!
