You heard it here first. I can EXCLUSIVELY report that Vanessa Hudgens does consider herself a single gal. I discovered this over the weekend when she and I chatted at the opening of Iris, the newest Cirque Du Soleil show in Los Angeles.

She is also excited to start shooting her newest movie, a thriller called Frozen Ground, in frigid Alaska. It begins shooting in October and is scheduled for release on December 1, 2012. You know what the best part is? That 50 Cent will be playing her pimp in the film! I am sure he will nail that role!
Some other tidbits I learned about Vanessa when we spoke: that she will be keeping her hair short for a “hot minute,” that her fave holiday tradition is opening presents on Christmas, and that her little sister is her BFF. Aww!
