The summer months are considered peak travel season. And I love to travel, but I am not crazy about all of the prep that happens before takeoff. Having to deal with changing seats, long TSA security lines, removing shoes, you know the drill. Ugh! But once I’ve reached my final destination, which is hopefully on a warm sandy beach with a fruity cocktail, I am a happy girl! As an avid traveler, I am going to give you my top 5 carry on travel essentials for any flight, whether it’s an hour long or across the pond.
1. A sweater is something that must be placed in a carry on. It doesn’t matter if you are headed to a hot destination, as the plane is sure to be an icebox. Bringing a sweater is something you won’t regret!
2. Aquaphor. Personally I am obsessed with this stuff. Not only is it the best lip balm you can use, but in small doses, it can be used as a moisturizer. Flights suck the moisturizer right out of your face, so this stuff is essential to apply throughout the flight!
3. An essential that is useful for those longer flights is a sleeping eye mask. In fact, if there is any chance you are going to be catching a few zzzz’s in the air, you will definitely want one. You will be surprised at how much you are able to tune out by using one of these!
4. Cleansing wipes. Not necessarily for use on the plane, but an essential once you’ve landed. I suggest the Sephora brand as they come in travel-friendly sizes. After using one of these, you will feel so much more refreshed and revived. So worth it!
5. Lastly, I always carry my laptop. While up in the clouds I come up with some of my most inspirational ideas, since there is little outside distraction. And of course, it is prime blogging time for me! Happy Travels!
Love you 5 tips’!!! I’m defiantly a lover of aquaphor…it does wonders! Your travel tips are the best…I want to live your life!
