Last week, I was one of the few fashion bloggers invited to chat with Julianne Hough over delish cocktails and preview her new shoe collection with Sole Society at Mixology before a special screening of her new movie, Safe Haven, also starring Josh Duhamel. And I have to say, the shoes are so stylish! There were definitely more than a few that I wanted to take home myself. And Julianne was lovely, sharing with me her top pick in the collection, how she has chosen her recent red carpet style looks and whether or not she would design her own line one day.
RCR: Which shoe is your fave in the collection?
JH: My absolute favorite is the Addy. It’s a fun flat. Wait until you see the styles in the upcoming months. They are very reflective of my style.
RCR: Were you really involved in the creative process?
JH: Yes. I was picking out fabrics, colors, and designing.
RCR: Would you ever consider designing a line of your own?:
JH: I really love the creative process behind the design. You never know!
RCR: Would you consider designing the costumes on Dancing With the Stars?
JH: Actually, each dancer designs their own clothes.
RCR: Did you have a favorite look that you wore on the show?
JH: Yes. I wore a leopard print costume with shorts that I really loved!
RCR: You have been taking bold fashion risks on the red carpet. What prompted this?
