I have to admit, the beginning of the 2013 SAG Awards red carpet wasn’t really exciting me, fashion-wise. Then, some standout looks came rolling down the arrivals line and I was happy! Style trends that emerged out of the show included the color navy, bold red lips, side-parted wavy hair and lots of shimmer. And here are the ladies who I thought were the best dressed of the night. Which one was your favorite?
Amanda Seyfried in Zac Posen and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. I love the simple elegance and silhouette of this navy gown. I also love that she paired a long chain with this dress, instead of going for the typical shorter necklace or long, dangly earrings. My favorite look of the night.
Kerry Washington in Rodarte and vintage Fred Leighton jweels. As of late, Kerry has been taking bold fashion risks and I love that. I have never seen her in a dress like this, but I do like it on her. Keep people guessing!
Nina Dobrev in Elie Saab and Neil Lane. The color of her dress is amazing! And I love the fact that she isn’t afraid to express herself through her style choices.
Naomi Watts in a Marchesa column dress, Faberge earrings and Salvatore Ferragamo clutch. For me, this look came together exceptionally well because of the color palette-the silver beaded dress, her striking blonde hair and bold red lip. Also, I am a big fan of the 1940’s style soft waves.
Marion Cotillard in Dior Haute Couture and Chopard jewels. Marion looked so fresh and modern, but also pretty and timeless yesterday. I love the unusual color combo and shorter length of the dress. And her chin length bob looked amaze!
Anne Hathaway in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture, Kwiat diamonds, Edie Parker clutch and Jimmy Choo heels. This high-low embroidered tulle dress is so fun, and her hair and makeup looked fantastic.
Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture and Chopard bling. Walking pneumonia or not, this starlet still managed to look amazing in the color of the night!
Tina Fey in an Oscar de la Renta dress and minuaudiere and Fred Leighton jewelry. Style-wise, this was Tina’s glam movie star moment. And everything on her was done right, from her side-parted wavy her to her metallic belt. She wasn’t overdone, but still very dramatic. The way a Hollywood star should be!
