What happens when music meets virtual reality in a movie studio? Sony’s Lost in Music campaign which kicked off with an immersive live show in LA, featuring Grammy-Nominated duo The Chainsmokers, as well as Vanic and The Lost Kings.
The evening was a blast and pushed the limits of technology. We entered the party into a room set-up to look and feel like a winter wonderland forest, complete with falling snow. Then we made our way through a corridor of hanging vines and into the main performance hall with an elevated DJ stage, life-size trees and fluffy white clouds floating above the crowd. Guests took the opportunity to pose for selfies at every turn.
We perched ourselves in the VIP section to watch the show, which was great because we were eye-level with the DJ booth. The crowd went crazy when The Chainsmokers went on, and they made the stage light up, using amazing pyrotechnics and fire!
Also on hand were Victoria Justice and her new boyfriend and Rocky Horror Picture Show co-star Reeve Carney, Teala Dunn, and Meredith Foster. A fun evening had by all!
