Last night I attended the X Factor Finalist party at The Bazaar at SLS. And it was a blast! I was invited by three amazing beauty brands: CoverGirl, Herbal Essences and Secret and was given all kinds of fun goodies to prep for the big night. I am a big fan of the Smoochies lip balm in Cute (a sheer berry tone). My Moroccan Shine Shampoo and Conditioner left the freshest scent in my locks and Secret Clinical Strength Clear Gel Deodorant didn’t leave a single streak on my lacy Joie LBD. After getting all beautified, I was ready for the party!
By the way, there wasn’t a penny spared at the lavish affair. Guests were treated to delish (it’s Jose Andres after all) edibles like veggie paella, Wagyu beef and cotton candy mojitos. And the champagne flowed all night! Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio chatted with each other inside the restaurant.
Simon Cowell held court most of the night on the side patio with a gaggle of friends, including his ex-galpal Terri Seymour. And he couldn’t have been nicer, not at all like his salty on-screen persona. Finalist Lillie McCloud received all kinds of praises from adoring fans at the bash, and instead of stressing over her future at the X Factor, she mentioned to me that it was all up to God. And then teared up when an admirer said she had the “voice of an angel.” Awww. She also revealed that she will be singing “All Is Fair in Love” by Stevie Wonder.
Meanwhile, contestant Jeff Gutt sat solo on a couch, texting away on his smart phone and Carlos Guevara grabbed fun props like mustaches and boas to pose for pics in the photo booth. A great time had by all!
