This past Thursday, charitable organization Canine Companions for Independence hosted its’ fourth annual HAUTE DOG | LA Canine Fashion Show at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. Key guests in attendance including actor Scott Foley from Scandal, Fred Schneider of the B-52’s and actress Julie Brown, joined to celebrate Canine Companions and the non-profit’s mission to enhance the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support.

Foley was touched by one of the events ‘wounded warriors’ stopping to speak with him on the events red carpet. A dog-lover Foley had served as a spokesperson for the “I Heart My Dog” program from Merial, to support Canine Companions for Independence earlier in the year.
