I’ve got an announcement, y’all! 2014 has brought so many wonderful blessings, but the best one of all is that there will be a little bambino on the way!

That’s right, I am with child! And she is coming right in the middle of summer. While my hubby and I are thrilled, we wanted to wait until we cleared the first trimester before we announced the news. And now that we are in a safer place in the pregnancy, it was time for the big unveiling. And that is what I did on Saturday night at my hoedown-themed birthday party. The baby bump reveal!

So much love from all of our close friends, who have already volunteered their babysitting services! And what Texas-themed party would be complete without Mexican food? And thanks to The Original Taco Man, I had the most delish taco bar spread that you have ever seen! All the fixings, rice, beans, salad, salsas-you name it, we had it. Not to mention, they were a hit with the guests!

And for a sweet treat, Sweet E’s Bakeshop provided me with the most amazing vegan cupcakes! Why vegan, you ask? Because of my severe allergies to eggs and dairy. And they took care of me in the best way, serving up vanilla coconut, red velvet, strawberries and cream and chocolate lover’s which were so good, there were barely any left at the end of the night.
