Black is the new black. And it is probably the biggest staple color in my wardrobe. But this only happened after I moved to the West Coast, where color is almost always the norm. Before, when I resided in NYC, I barely wore any noir and was all about the brightest hues that I could find. Go figure. On a recent night out in the Big D, I decided to go all out in head-to-toe black, sporting a strapless sundress with flouncy skirt by WowCouture, Julie Vos Byzantine cuff, Botkier Legacy Crossbody Bag, Sole Society open-toe booties, Metal Haven by Kendall and Kylie “Friends” Necklace, assorted stacked gold rings, Nyx Creme Brulee Butter Lip Gloss and my Essie Marshmallow mani and pedi.
