Who wouldn’t like being pampered as if he or she was a Hollywood star? Not me! While I was in the Big Apple covering the Gotham Awards this week, I was able to indulge in some celebrity pampering treatments. My journey to the Ricardo Rojas Salon on the Upper East Side was well worth the trip through the Obama traffic nightmare. First, I was treated to an amazing makeup touch-up from PinkPapayaParties.com- a company that specializes in all natural, paraben free cosmetics. They have an amazing line of hand treatments which left my hands as smooth as a baby’s bottom, and even a candle that burns and melts into a luxurious body oil. And the smell is heavenly!

After my face and skin got the A-List treatment, I entrusted my mane to hairstylist Josh Perez, who tames the locks of Gwyneth Paltrow and Rosario Dawson. In about 10 minutes flat, he created a super sexy, Victoria’s Secret Angel hairdo that made me feel like I was going to sprout wings and fly away! He is also featured in Allure this month, so be sure to stop by and see him if you are in NYC. And Rojas himself was on hand to show me his line of gorgeous, soft brushes that look as good as they feel. Being a Hollywood starlet clearly has its perks!
