Last night, the Emmys were held in LA. And with that comes lots of fabulous fashion. Big style trends of the evening included: the color red, plunging necklines, lots of sparkle, one shoulder looks, and mermaid silhouettes. Here are my choices for the best dressed at last night’s awards show.

The 2011 Met Gala, or the Superbowl of Fashion as I like to call it, was held last night in NYC. The night’s honoree was Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, who also designed both of Kate Middleton’s wedding dresses this past weekend. No doubt the honor was well deserved. I caught up with the always fashion forward Kelly Rowland at the Courage in Journalism Awards last week. We had a bit of a mutual admiration of one another’s style choices of the evening-I fell for the chunky gold earrings she was wearing that she had picked up from Neiman Marcus earlier in the day, and she dug my United Nude Booties.
