I just returned from a fun and inspiring bloggers breakfast event at the Chateau Marmont hosted by Leeza Gibbons and Sheer Cover. And Leeza is one hell of a lady! We chatted about the start of her journalism career in Beaumont, Texas; her time spent as a reporter at WFAA (ABC) in my hometown of Dallas, red carpet reporting antics (like when celebs don’t want to talk and what to do with that often uncomfortable silence), and our shared love of “real” Tex Mex food-only available in Texas! This very driven media personality has also hosted a radio show, produced TV, and is also very involved with charities, including her own philanthropic organization-Leeza’s Place. It serves as a resource for caregivers dealing with a loved one with with chronic illnesses, especially memory disorders.
