No doubt Drew Barrymore was all things a blushing bride as she walked down the aisle with fiance Will Kopelman at her home in Montecito, CA. on Saturday. The bride is said to have worn a custom-designed Karl Lagerfeld gown with a black satin belt and an embroidered skirt complete with muslin, organza, tulle, and feather flowers.

Karl Lagerfeld premiered his latest Chanel Cruise collection in Cap D’Antibes on the French Riviera yesterday. In fact, it was held at Versailles amongst the lush gardens and beautiful water fountains, painting quite the picturesque scene.

Last night at the Grand Palais in Paris, Karl Lagerfeld presented Chanel’s Couture Collection for Fall 2011, and what a show it was! The setting was a modern, sci-fi-esque replica of the Place Vendome, an interesting and effective backdrop for the romantic, vintage feel of the clothes.

The South of France just got a little bit more glamourous on Monday (if that is even possible) as Karl Lagerfeld debuted the Chanel 2011/12 Cruise Collection at the Hotel Du Cap in Cap D’Antibes. Inspired by the Tale of a Fairy-his short film-models strutted the runway in shades of canary yellow, lavender, and cream; jewels perfectly accessorizing the “I just hopped off my yacht” swimwear; floral embellishments; white satin; and a call back to the 1930’s.
