One of my favorite ways to give back over the holidays is to help out a worthwhile animal charity in need. And one of those non-profits that is near and dear to my heart is Earth Angels Canine Rescue in New York City. I adopted two of my lovable and loyal pups from this amazing no-kill rescue group.
Animal lovers, rescue groups, and adopters are upset and charging that NYC animal shelters are euthanizing pets that had homes waiting for them.
Over 1,000 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens from fifty NKLA partners, city + county shelters, and rescue groups will be up for adoption this weekend in LA.
Just this past week, the Los Angeles City Council voted 12-2 in favor of a law that would ban the sale of commercially bred animals in pet stores. Instead, pet stores must sell rescued pets from animal shelters, registered rescue groups, and Humane Societies.
