Last night, Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in NYC played host to the 2011 CFDA Awards, recognizing excellence in fashion design. CFDA honorees included Fashion Icon Award winner Lady Gaga (who was decked in a floor-sweeping Thierry Mugler), and Lifetime Achievement Award Winner Marc Jacobs. Red (my fave!) seemed to be the color of the evening, gracing the gorgeous bodies of Doutzen Kroes, Karlie Kloss, and Alessandra Ambrosio. There was even an unexpected pop of color (seafoam green) by Chanel Iman who wore BCBG Max Azria. And lots of sex appeal with thigh high slits all over the place, cutouts galore on Miranda Kerr in Michael Kors, and a lace dress worn by Georgina Chapman for her label, Marchesa.
