Celebrity baby stories are hard to come by. As new parents, and especially new mothers, most don’t want to expose their child to the spotlight at such a young age. It’s only natural to want privacy, but it leaves us dying to know more about the baby!
First time mother Olivia Wilde is not only open to discussing motherhood, but she also even posed for photos while breastfeeding her three-month old son Otis. As the cover of Glamour’s September 2014 edition, she tells the magazine about her life as a new mother, working, and simply being happy.
Dressed to the nines in a Roberto Cavalli dress and Prada heels, the actress embraces motherhood in the most natural way. ”Being shot with Otis is so perfect because any portrait of me right now isn’t complete without my identity as a mother being a part of that,” Wilde revealed. Realizing the complexity of motherhood, she adds, “You can be someone who is at once maternal and professional and sexy and self-possessed.”
While nursing your infant son in a designer dress with a full face of makeup may not be the most natural thing in the world, there’s still something so pure and stunning about the photo. Many find it refreshingly beautiful, but the revealing photo has certainly also stirred up its fair share of mixed feelings. What do you think of it?
