On this thirteenth anniversary of 9/11, the day that changed our world forever, I can’t help but think of that horrible Tuesday. I lived in downtown Manhattan on 9/11 with my roomie and one of my besties, Stephanie. We stood on our rooftop and watched the buildings crumble into pieces with tears streaming down our faces. The smell of burnt rubble and flesh permeated the air, and seeing the masses exit the city was unbelievable.
A few years ago, on the tenth anniversary, I wrote down exactly what transpired that day, so I would never forget what happened. You can read it here. To all of those who were directly affected by this terrible tragedy, my thoughts and prayers are always with you. Know that we will never forget.
