Naomi Watts has signed on to play the late Princess Diana in a biopic called Caught in Flight. It will focus on the last two years of the royal’s life and will be directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel.

Originally, the role was to be played by Jessica Chastain and be a much more scandalous plot, detailing the love affair between Diana and heart surgeon, Dr. Hasnat Khan. Now, the movie will be more about her humanitarian work and finding her self-worth, according to The Wrap.
